Look to Samsung smart home for a better interface that works and is simple. It is not a cheap system and should work better then this. Pentairs ScreenLogic Connect is a convenient interface for your pool and spa, designed specifically for the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and now Apple. I have no idea why I have to be on the network with it. The heater feature actually looks good but again it is hit and miss as to when it feels like working. Using this app is so frustrating because what it does and doesn't do is very inconsistent, sometimes it works other times it doesn't there seems to be no reason as to why it only works sometimes. It may keep it as something like username 7. When you name a pump or a light it may or may not take the name. The color buttons don't work most of the time. This app is not good and is full of bugs. It is clunky and is not intuitive at all. Really the only good this is I don't have to use the 1980 looking remote when I am using my pool but that is the only good thing. In other words I have to be at my house to use it. It only will allow access if I am one the wireless network my pool is on. When I delete something from the schedule it is back the next time I open the app.
It won't allow me to add schedule events.
